During her Bachelor project in 2017, Nadja gained experience in Analytical Chemistry and Phytoplankton Ecology, with focus on pigment analysis via high-pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC). She used CHEMTAX, a matrix-factorisation programm (Mackey et al., 1997), to assess the phytoplankton community composition of different lakes situated in Upper Bavaria, Germany. Nadja was supervised by PD Dr. Patrick Fink and me.
